OUR MISSION
The purpose of this organization shall be to bring closer cooperation among all individuals living within the area, and encourage participation in all activities that have to do with civic, social, and cultural betterment of Lynnhaven Colony Civic League neighborhoods and Virginia Beach, Virginia. Activities include upholding the principles of good government, taking an active interest in affairs concerning Lynnhaven Colony and surrounding areas, and cooperating with other organizations engaged in furthering civic affairs.
OUR STORY
The Lynnhaven Colony Civic League is organized exclusively for social, cultural, charitable and educational purposes, including distributions of funds to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(4) of the Internal Revenue Code (or corresponding provisions of any future United States Internal Revenue Law).
Reasonable accommodations shall be made for any member to fully participate in meetings upon request from the individual.
The civic league welcomes anyone living or owning property within its physical boundaries who values our mission. As a volunteer organization, we are always recruiting, retaining, and promoting a diverse membership representative of our neighborhoods’ diversity.
